WESCO Gas & Welding Supply, Inc. (WESCO) opened the doors of its first store in 1963 in Prichard, AL. Three years later, Ron Pierce joined the company as a registered professional engineer. In 1974, with the support of his family, he bought-out his partner and became President and CEO of WESCO.

Under his leadership, the company has grown and become one of the largest independent gas and welding distributorships along the Gulf Coast.

This year WESCO celebrates 47 years of service and continues to practice the same simple philosophy as they did many years ago: the customers always 'Expects the Best' service, before and after the sale.
